1st day of JSC exam passes peacefully in Chittagong
02 November 2015, Nirapad News: The first day of Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations under the Chittagong Education Board (CEB) ended peacefully today.
Board sources said, around 2390 students were absent in the Bangla first paper exam on the first day in different centres of the four districts under CEB.
A total of one lakh 53 thousand 41 students took part in the JSC examination under CEB this year from 1,225 educational institutions.
Adequate numbers of vigilance teams, consisting of officials of CEB, were deputed in different centres to check any sort of unfairness or irregularities.
Divisional Commissioner Mohammad Abdullah, CEB Chairman Prof Mohammad Shahjahan along with officials of district administration visited five examination centers in the city.
CEB Controller Mahbub Hasan said the JSC examination was held in a peaceful manner as the authority has taken necessary steps in this regard.
