Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given a negative response to the proposal of naming the Padma Bridge after her at the Parliament.
The Premier responded negative when lawmaker M Iqbal Hossain from Gazipur-3 placed the proposal in the House on Thursday.
The PM first waved her hand and then shook head saying ‘no’ ‘no’.
Iqbal Hossain MP placed the proposal participating in discussion on a motion thanks to the president’s address in the Parliament.
Later, another AL lawmaker Pankaj Devnath also placed the same proposal.
