The Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) started selling essential commodities across the country from Wednesday increasing the price of two products–soybean oil and lentils.
Earlier, it increased soybean oil by Tk 10 per liter while lentils by Tk 5.
On mobile trucks, the TCB are selling sugar, lentils, onions and soybean oil from this morning, TCB sources said.
The sale will continue till November 28.
According to TCB, a buyer can buy a maximum of 2 kg of sugar at Tk 55, 2 kg of lentils at Tk 60, 2 liters of bottled soybean oil at Tk 110 and 2.5 kg of onion at Tk 30 at a time.
