Students aged over 12 years will not be allowed to attend classes without COVID-19 vaccine doses.
Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam made the disclosure in a press briefing after the Cabinet meeting on Thursday.
Education Ministry will be issued a direction in this regard soon, he added.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined the meeting virtually from Gono Bhaban.
The COVID infection rate has risen again in Bangladesh. For this, the government has started taking measures to curb the infection rate.
