17 December 2016, Nirapad News: Three Indonesian nationals, who are suspected to be involved in murder of a Bangladeshi three months ago, have been detained in Malaysia, reports New Straits Times Online of Malaysia.

The report said the detainees, aged between 18 and 25, were held in separate police raids in the country’s Bandar Putra Klang and Kuala Langat area on 13 December.

The Bangladesh reportedly named as Syaiyad Ali was killed in September this year. His passport number was BC0214534.

The country’s Shah Alam police chief assistant commissioner Shafien Mamat said on 19 October, police found the victim’s body by a roadside.

The victim too did not carry any identification document,” police chief assistant commissioner Shafien was quoted to have said at a press conference on Wednesday.

“We manage to locate the taxi driver and upon further investigations were able to solve the case,” he was also quoted to have said.
