3 ‘JMB men’ put on 5-day remand
06 December 2015,Nirapad News: A court on Sunday placed three suspected members of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), on a five-day remand each in connection with a case filed under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Raihanul Islam passed the order when Azizul Haque, a DB inspector, produced them before the court seeking a 10-day remand for each.
Those remanded are AHM Khairul Asad, technical assistant of JMB Mir Moazzem Hossain Saifi alias Darmin and Kafil Uddin.
Earlier, detectives arrested them from the city’s Uttara area on Saturday night.
The law enforcers also recovered huge radical books from their possession.
Momin Khan, sub-inspector of Uttara East Police Station, filed a case against them under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
