4 Bangladeshi peacekeepers hurt in blasts
16 February 2015, Nirapad News: Four Bangladeshi army personnel of an United Nations (UN) peacekeeping mission were seriously injured in an explosion in Mali on Sunday. The explosion occurred at Tabankort in Mali when a patrol team of Bangladesh infantry unit was guarding the area, leaving three officers and a soldier seriously injured at 6:30 pm (local time). The injured were identified as Major Ashraf (AMC), Major Shahriar (signal core), Major Tushit Barua (armed core) and soldier Shariful (infantry), said an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release on Monday. The injured personnel were admitted to a French hospital in Mali, the release added, according to a news agency.
