4th death anniversary of Al Musabbir Sadi tomorrow

20 May 2015, Nirapad News: The 4th death anniversary of Al Musabbir Sadi, an eminent sports journalist and former general secretary of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), will be observed tomorrow at BSJA office.

Sadi, a senior member of Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA), died of cancer on May 20, 2011 at the age of 44. He left behind his wife, two sons and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.

After completing his Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Dhaka, Sadi started his journalism career as a sports reporter at The Independent in 1995. Later, he worked at The Daily Star from 2004 to 2009 as a senior reporter before joining BFF as the first ever paid general secretary in 2009.

Marking his death anniversary, BSJA has arranged a Quran khwani and Doa mahfil after Zohr prayer at the Paltan ground Jame Mosque.

Doa Mahfil will also been arranged by his family and BFF to pray for the departed soul.
