60kg gold siezed from Dhaka airport
02 February 2015, Nirapad News: Shahjalal International Airport customs officials have seized 60 kg of gold from a Bangladesh Biman flight on Monday.
The airplane had flown into Dhaka’s Shahjalal International Airport via Chittagong from Dubai.
Customs Intelligence’s Director General Moinul Khan told that 60kgs of gold was recovered after searching the toilet of the aircraft.
In the past one year, huge gold seizures have been reported from both Dhaka’s Shahjalal and Chittagong’s Shah Amanat Airport.
