7.4 Nepal quake jolts Bangladesh, India
12 May 2015, Nirapad News: A major 7.4 earthquake that epicenter in the already quake stricken Nepal this afternoon rocked Dhaka and other parts of Bangladesh.
US Geological Survey tagged the earthquake at 7.4 and said it epicenter 22 kilometers southeast of Zham, China – near Nepal.
The quake, which struck near the base camp for Everest, was measured at a shallow depth of about 10 km.
A 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck on April 25, killing at least 8,046 people and injuring more than 17,800.
