Awami League general secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader is scheduled to leave Dhaka for India on Monday afternoon.
He will leave for New Delhi on a Biman Bangladesh flight for a health check-up, said a ministry media release.
Quader is expected to return after the health check-up at Medanta Hospital, the release also said, UNB reports.
