Bangladesh Railway has suspended its sale of online tickets from March 21-25 due to online ticketing services hand over process.
Hundred per cent train tickets will be sold at the counters during these five days.
Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujan came up with the information at a press conference at Rail Bhaban in the capital on Monday.
Fifty per cent tickets are now being sold online while the rest from the counters.
Railway recently appointed a joint venture firm led by Shohoz, Bangladesh’s largest online ticket destination, to operate online services for the next five years.
