AMA Muhith hosted ‘High Tea’ for Mamata at Jamuna
21 February 2015, Nirapad News: Finance Minister, AMA Muhith hosted a “High Tea” for the visiting India’s West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday afternoon at State Guest House Jamuna in the capital.
Various kinds of local and seasonal “Pithas” and the delicious smoked Hilsa were the main attractions in the High Tea along with some regular items. The items are- “Vapa Pitha”, “Patisapta”, “Dudh Chitai”, “Chitai Gur”, “Nakshi Pitha”, “Narkel Naru”, “Gilapi” and “‘Batasha”.
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed, Planning Minister ANH Mostafa Kamal, Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon, Advisers to the Prime Minister H.T Imam and Dr Gowher Rizvi, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md. Shahriar Alam, Indian High Commissioner Pankaj Saran, senior journalists, eminent cultural personalities and member of Mamata Banerjee’s entourage, among others, joined the High Tea.
