Amu leaves for Tehran to attend D-8 conference
25 January Nirapad News: Industries’ Minister Amir Hossain Amu, MP, left for Tehran today to attend the 4th ministerial meeting on D-8 industrial cooperation. The minister is heading a two-member delegation to the conference.
The meeting is scheduled to end on January 28 with a joint declaration aiming at greater cooperation among the D-8 countries.
The group comprises Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey. Their combined foreign trade is 500 billion US dollars.
