Amu to join in Business Summit in New Delhi
12 March 2015, Nirapad News: Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu on Thursday left for New Delhi to take part in the 10th North East Business Summit.
Indian Chamber of Commerce is organizing the summit to be held on March 13- 14 to strengthen the participatory based industry and trade relations among the member countries of the ASEAN and BIMSTEC.
Ministers from Bangladesh, Cambodia, Japan, Nepal, Bhutan and Singapore and chief ministers of Sikkim, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Meghalaya states of India as well as nearly a thousand of representatives of banking and financial institutions, corporate organizations, entrepreneurs and investors would take part in the summit.
Important issues including infrastructure, power and energy, communication, industries, agriculture, tourism and human resource development would be discussed at the summit.
The minister would highlight the opportunities and facilities being offered by the government to the foreign investors to invest in Bangladesh.
