Another remanded over Japanese woman murder

07 December 2015,Nirapad News: A Dhaka court on Monday placed HM Zakir Patwari Ratan, the main accused of Japanese woman Hiroi Miyata murder case, on a four-day remand.

Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kaisarul Islam passed the order.

Earlier, Officer in-Charge of Uttara East Police Station Abu Bakar Siddique sought 10 days’ remand to interrogate him.

Police arrested Ratan, the business partner of Miyata, from Benapole border area in Jessore on Sunday.

The sexagenarian woman, Hiyori Miyata, was killed in late October and then buried secretly.
