Another two cases filed against Khaleda Zia in Comilla arson
04 February 2015, Nirapad News: Two cases filed over the petrol bomb attack on a bus in Comilla that left seven people burnt alive against BNP chief Khaleda Zia as mastermind and 76 leaders and activists of BNP and its ally Jamaat-e-Islami.
Chouddogram police SI Nuruzzaman filed the cases, one for murder and another Explosives Substances Act.
Former Jamaat MP Dr Abdullah Mohammad Taher was also made accused in the case.
Chouddogram Uttam Kumar Chakrabarti said 10 accused in the case were arrested.
Miscreants hurled petrol bombs on a night bus in Jogmohonpur area under Chouddagram upazila around 4am on Tuesday.
Seven people were killed and more than 30 injured in the petrol bomb attack.
Among those injured, the condition of at least six is reported to be critical; they are currently taking treatment at the burn unit of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
