Police have received around 16 crore applications for the movement pass in last three days.
Of those, 3,16,801 passes have been issued on behalf of the law enforcers.
Police Headquarters’ Assistant Inspector General (media) Md Sohel Rana said 15,99,22,065 applications for the movement pass were submitted between 11am on Tuesday to 9am on Thursday.
Some 14,026 applications are being submitted their applications every one minute. However, only 400,977 people have been able to register.
Sohel Rana said 3,16,801 passes were issued during this period while 3,16,754 passes were accepted.
The app ‘Movement Pass’ was launched on Tuesday for people to go out during the week-long strict lockdown.
