14 November 2015, Nirapad News: Australian opener David Warner was dismissed for 253 early on Saturday, ending his mighty innings in the second Test against New Zealand at the WACA Ground in Perth.
The left-hander was caught in slips by Mark Craig off the bowling of Trent Boult.
He had faced 286 balls and been at the crease for 409 minutes, hitting 24
fours and two sixes to notch the second-highest individual score in a Test at the WACA, behind only Matthew Hayden’s 380 against Zimbabwe in 2003.
Australia were 428 for three in their first innings, with Steve Smith on seven and Adam Voges on one.
