Awami League works for country, BNP loots after coming to power: Hamid
15 November 2015, Nirapad News: State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid Bipu today said whenever Awami League (AL) comes into power, works for the country and its people, but when BNP comes into power, they just loot and plunder.
“The amount of progress that the country has seen in the last six years, has not been seen in last 40 years. The country is moving forward rapidly. Now the image of the present government and Bangladesh has become brighter. On the other hand, BNP has been identified abroad as a party of terrorists,” he said.
Hamid said this at a rally held in Nayanpur area under Khilpara union in Chatkhil upazila in Noakhali. The rally was organized on the occasion of inaugurating 33/11 KV MBA power sub-station and connection of power to 528 families, an official release said here.
Presided over by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’a personal assistant and AL leader Md Jahangir Alam, the function was attended by HM Ibrahim, MP, Mamunur Rashid Kiron, MP, and Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) chairman Brigadier General Moin Uddin, among others, as special guests.
