‘Bangladesh is my favorite country’
06 February 2016, Nirapad News: The former first lady and the Democrat candidate in US Election Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton hoped that she would visit Bangladesh if she gets elected on the 2016 presidential election.
While answering a question about Bangladesh, Hillary said, ‘Bangladesh is one of my favorite countries. I would definitely visit there. It’s a great news for me that Bangladeshi Americans are working for my election campaign. I wish the best for the Bangladeshis.’
Kansas Asian American coccus chairman Rehan Reza has been working hard for Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
He had a discussion with Hillary Clinton during the Iowa state Des Moines election campaign about Bangladesh. She expressed hope to visit Bangladesh during this discussion.
Former Bangladesh Ambassador Osman Siddique has declared to arrange a program on fund raising for Hillary on March. But so far any date has been declared yet.
Osman Siddique had served as an ambassador in Fiji and other countries during the Bill Clinton’s regime as US President.
He said, “Those who are contributing in the campaign fund by online, please let me know. Because the preparation has been taken for the program in March, the top contributor will be participating in a photo session with Hillary Clinton there. The program will be held in Washington DC”.
Among the US residents, Bangladeshis who have received their citizenship, almost 90 percent of them are Democrat supporters. That means the whole Bangladesh-origin community is supporting Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton on this election.
