
Bangladeshis among 600 rescued off Libyan coast
20 March 2016, Nirapad News: Libyan authorities rescued nearly 600 migrants, mostly from Bangladesh and African countries, from four boats off western coast on Saturday.
A spokesman for Libyan naval forces, Ayoub Qassem, said the bodies of four dead women had been recovered, and some migrants were still missing after a migrant boat sank.
The coast guard gave no details on the nationalities of the victim or those rescued.
