Begum Khaleda Zia is an agent of Pakistan: Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif
Bagerhat , 14 February 2015, Nirapad News: Joint general secretary of the ruling Awami League Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif said on Saturday that demands can’t be materialized from the government by unleashing terrorism and mentioned Khaleda Zia as an agent of Pakistan.
“BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is an agent of Pakistan. Without any reason, she has been killing people of the country with firebombs taking bribe from Pakistani intelligence agency ISI. Can such acts be termed as politics?” he posed a question adding: “They are terrorists, the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina would surely contain terrorism with an iron hand.”
Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif said this while speaking as the chief guest at the triennial council of Bagerhat District Awami League (AL) at Khan Jahan Ali College ground at the outskirts of the district town.
The AL leader said, “There is no scope for recurrence of a situation like that of 1/11 and those who are dreaming of such a situation are conspirators. Siding with those petrol bombers, some identified members of the civil society are coming up with proposal to the government to hold dialogue. The government won’t sit for dialogue with any killer.”
He alleged that Khaleda Zia snatched the people’s voting rights while she was in power and she did not participate in the January 5 national polls of last year despite repeated requests.
“But, now they (BNP) along with Jamaat-Shibir cronies have been resorting to countrywide subversive acts in the name of siege-hartal programmes demanding polls,” Hanif said adding that along with the people Awami League would resist together such terrorist activities at any cost.
Bagerhat District AL president Dr Mozammel Hossain chaired the council, also addressed, among others, by AL central organising secretary BM Mozammel Huq, MP, former state ministers Munnujan Sufian, MP, and Talukdar Abdul Khaleque, MP, Advocate Meer Shawkat Ali Badsha, MP, Happy Baral, MP, and AL central working committee member SM Kamal Hossain.
