‘Big brothers’ behind foreigners’ killing won’t be spared: Nasim
07 November 2015, Nirapad News: Awami League presidium member and Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim said here today that a vested quarter is engaged in destabilising the country by killing police and foreigners.
“The trial of the war criminals could not be stalled by killing policemen and foreigners. The ‘big brothers’, who instructed such a killing, won’t be spared. The national polls won’t be held prior to 2019 whatever might be the conspiracy,” he said.
Mohammad Nasim said this while speaking as the chief guest at the workers’ conference of District Awami League (AL) at Freedom Fighter Aminul Huq auditorium of Bogra Zila School in the town.
District AL president Mamtaj Uddin presided over the meeting, also addressed, among others, by AL organising secretary Abu Sayeed Al Mahmud Swapan and District AL general secretary Mujibur Rahman Majnu.
Habibur Rahman, MP, Joipurhat District AL general secretary Solaiman Ali, District Council administrator Dr Mokbul Hossain, District AL joint secretaries Ragebul Ahsan Ripu & TK Jaman Niketa, District Juba League general secretary Sagar Kumar Roy and District Swechchasebak League president Asadur Rahman Dulu were present, among others.
Mohammad Nasim alleged that staying in London, BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has been hatching conspiracy against the state and to topple the elected government from power.
“She (Begum Zia) will get a befitting reply of her conspiracy witnessing the convergence of huge people at the public rally to be organised in Bogra on November 12. It’s not merely a public rally to meet the expectations of Bogra-dwellers. On that day it would be proved that Bogra is not the strong-hold of Khaleda Zia rather there’s a solid footing of Sheikh Hasina on the soil of Bogra,” the senior AL leader added.
