Biman schedule disruption, Hajj pilgrims suffer in Jeddah
02 October 2015, Nirapad News: Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims have fallen into a deep trouble at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah as the return schedules of Biman Bangladesh Airlines disrupted on Thursday.
Sources said the BG 4018 flight was scheduled to leave at 12:50pm of Wednesday but it could not left till 4:00pm on Thursday.
Besides, BG 6018 flight, which was scheduled to leave at 6:20pm, was at the airport.
This is why, the hajj pilgrims were seen suffering miserably at the hajj terminal of the airport in extreme hot as the temperature rose to 48 degree Celsius.
Some of the pilgrims told banglanews that they spent more than a day without food in intolerable heat.
They also had complained to the authorities concerned but to no avail, added one hajj pilgrim Mozammel Hossain.
Another passenger Imran Ali said after a long altercation the flight authorities managed a hotel for them but did not inform about the flight schedule.
