Blogger Rajib murder case shifted to Speedy Trial Tribunal
11 May 2015, Nirapad News: Blogger Rajib murder case has been transferred to the Speedy Trial Tribunal 3 from the Dhaka Sessions Judges Court for its quick disposal.
Fourth Additional Metropolital Sessions Judge Ruhul Amin shifted the case to the court of Sayeed Ahmed on Monday following an order by the ministry concerned.
Ahmed Rajib Haider, also an activist of Shahbagh Ganojagoran Mancha, was hacked to death in the capital’s Pallabi on February 15, 2013.
On January 29, 2014, DB Inspector Nibaran Chandra Burman, also the IO of the case, submitted a charge sheet to the CMM court against Ansarullah Bangla Team chief Mufti Jasimuddin Rahmani and seven students of North South University.
