BNP joined hands with Mossad to unseat Hasina: Quader

16 May 2016, Nirapad News: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Monday alleged that BNP has joined hands with Jewish intelligence agency Mossad to oust Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

“BNP is trying to dislodge the government after their failure to wage a movement and conspiring in many ways against the government. Bangladesh is a Muslim country, and they (BNP) have joined hands with Mossad to oust a Muslim prime minister,” the minister said.

He said it is now clear to people that it is not possible to conceal the truth, which is clear like daylight.

Quader, also an Awami League presidium member, said this while addressing a discussion organised by Krishak League at Awami League central office in the city marking the Homecoming Day of party President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Several local newspapers recently published reports attaching more than one photographs of BNP joint secretary general Aslam Chowdhury meeting with Israeli influential leader Mendi N Safadi. But, Aslam denied any conspiracy against the government although he admitted to meeting Safadi in a tea party in India.

On Sunday, plainclothes police arrested Aslam Chowdhury from the capital for his alleged involvement in an anti-state plot.

Quader urged Awami League leaders and activists to get united to thwart any conspiracy against Sheikh Hasina.

“There’s no alternative to strengthening the hands of our leader (Sheikh Hasina) to maintain the country’s development and achievements,” he added.

Awami League organising secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim and Krishak League general secretary Shamsul Haque Reza, among others, spoke at the programme held with Krishak League president Motaher Hossain Mollah in the chair.
