Boys ready to proof their skill on ground: Titu

02 October 2015, Nirapad News: Host Bangladesh take on Sri Lanka in one of the opening group A match of the AFC U-19 Championship 2016 Qualifiers scheduled to be held tomorrow (Friday) at the country’s premier venue Bangabandhu National Stadium with both teams expressed high hope to win the match.

The match kicks off at 6 pm.

State-owned Bangladesh Television will telecast both the matches live while Bangladesh Betar will run the live commentary.

Addressing at a pre-match press conference at the Bangladesh Football Federation conference room, Bangladesh u-19 team’s head coach Saiful Bari Titu said his boys are now in good shape and they are aiming to proof their skip in the field.

“Our boys have been undergoing training for the championship in the last three months… the team is much ready for the game… the crowds support and home ground will give us extra advantage. In addition the boys have lust to perform in the field… I hope they will proof their worth,” Titu said.

Commenting about the Sri Lankan teams, Titu said Sri Lankan side are young, energetic and technically good but his boys are also ready to handle their opponents.

Titut said his attacking players are consistently showing good performance and hoped that goal would come in favor of them.

On the other hand, Sri Lankan head coach Sumith Walpolo said his team in continuous training process and boys are in good shape having no injury problem at the moment.

He said fourteen out of twenty players of his team including team’s skipper Danushka Madushanka have experience of playing premier league.

The rates of tickets for VIP Taka 50 and gallery Taka 30 have been fixed. The tickets will be available at the stadium counters on the match day.

Besides, the school students can enjoy the match free of tickets showing their respective school ID card using the gate no 5.
