BSF hands over two top Bangladeshi terrorists on Benapole border
01 October 2015, Nirapad News: Members of Border Security Force of India (BSF) handed over two listed top terrorists to Border Guard Bangladesh.
(BGB) after a flag meeting in Ghiba border area on Wednesday night.
The two terrorists were identified as Amirul and Saiful.
They are accused in several cases, including one for murder of former BCL president of Jessore district and Singhojuli union parishad chairman Zillur Rahman Mintu.
A shopkeeper named Samad was stabbed to death in Kagospukur Bazar at Benapole on Tuesday night; they are accused in the case for this also, said Apurbo Hasan, officer-in-charge of Benapole Port Police Station.
BSF members detained them while they were crossing the border into India on Wednesday. Later BSF gave details of the arrestees to BGB.
Lt Colonel Jahangir Hossain of BGB 26-battalion and Colonel B K Pande, commanding officer of BSF, were present at the flag meeting.
Meanwhile, BGB members handed over the terrorists to Benapole Port Police Station.
