Meherpur, 16 May 2015, Nirapad News: Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) pushed back 40 Bangladesh nationals through Mujibnagar frontier of the district on Friday.

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) sources said the BSF members of India’s Patharghata camp pushed back the Bangladeshis through the frontier and they scattered different areas from the upazila.

Biswajit Mandol, who was pushed back by BSF, told banglanews that he was detained by Indian police one year ago for entering there without visa.

On Thursday afternoon, 100 people including him released from Kolkata’s Damdam jail and returned home through several frontiers, he added.

But he was not sure whether all of them were Bangladeshis.
