In the wake of mounting firebombings during the BNP-led blockade, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) has launched a burn unit to take care of the increasing number of burn victims.

13 August 2015, Nirapad News: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) tomorrow will provide free health service at Tungipara Thana Health Complex under Gopalganj district to mark the 40th Sahadat anniversary of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day-2015.

The theme of tomorrow’s program is : Let us be more caring in giving treatment to patients.

Presidium member of Bangladesh Awami League and Parliamentary Standing Committee Member of Health and Family Welfare Ministry Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim MP will inaugurate the program while BSMMU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Kamrul Hasan Khan will be presiding over.

BSMMU assistant proctor Dr. Abu Taher will coordinate the doctors’ team including 21 members in joining the campaign from 10am to 4pm tomorrow, a BSMMU press release said.
