Bullet-hit bodies of 2 terrorist siblings recovered in Cox’s Bazar

09 December 2015, Nirapad News: Police recovered bullet-hit bodies of two top terrorists, both siblings, from Himchari hillside on the Eidgaon-Eidgarh road in Sadar upazila on Wednesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Jahedul Alam alias Sifat,28, son of Mohammad Alam, and his brother Shahidul Alam alias Arafat—both residents of Halima Para of the district town.

Sub-inspector Minhaz Mahmud Bhuiyan, in-charge of Eidgaon police investigation centre, said locals spotted the bodies of the duo lying in the area at about 9:00 am and informed police.

Later police recovered the bodies and sent those to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Aslam said the two brothers might have been killed in a clash between to rival groups.

Sifat was accused in 22 criminal cases while Arafat had 20 cases against him and both were on the top terror list of the Home Ministry, said the OC.
