Campaigning for second phase of Bihar polls ends
14 October 2015, Nirapad News: Campaigning for the second phase of Assembly elections in Bihar ends today.
A total of 32 constituencies spread over six districts of Gaya, Jahanabad, Arwal, Aurangabad, Rohtas and Kaimur will go to polls in this phase on Friday. There are 456 candidates in the fray for the second phase.
Senior leaders of different political parties are making their last-ditch efforts to woo the voters in their favour.
Meanwhile, both NDA and Grand Alliance leaders are leaving no stone unturned to persuade voters, highlighting the policies and programmes of their respective parties.
Party leaders also slammed each other with accusations.
Bihar Police has lodged an FIR against Awadhesh Prasad Kushwaha who was sacked as cabinet minister in the Nitish Kumar government on Sunday after a video showing him taking a bribe went viral on social media.
The Bihar chief electoral officer said that district magistrate concerned has been asked to probe the incident.
