Chhatra League activist held with BCS question paper in Khulna
Khulna, 7 March 2015, Nirapad News: A mobile court in Khulna on Friday sentenced a local Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activist, who was held with a question paper of the 35th BCS preliminary test, to two years’ imprisonment.
Police arrested Shariful Islam Babu, an activist of Azam Khan Govt Commerce College unit of BCL, while he was fleeing with the BCS question paper from the examination centre at the college around 3:15pm.
Later, he was produced before the mobile court, led by executive magistrate Ashiq-un-Nabi Talukder, who handed down the sentence. Teachers of the college said Babu might have collected the question paper from a peon of the college.
Vice-president of Khulna city BCL Oheduzzaman Dollar said Shariful was a BCL man. He completed his graduation in honours from the commerce college recently.
