CNG auto smashed between two trucks, 4 killed in Tangail
21 January 2015, Nirapad News: Two trucks have smashed a CNG driven auto rickshaw at Tangail’s Kalihati near Bangabandhu Bridge. Four passengers of the auto have died and two more were injured in the incident.
The deceased are identified as Niranjan Saha, 35, and Nurul Islam Kalu, 40, from Jamalpur’s Madarganj along with Golam Kibria from Kalihati, 35, and the auto-rickshaw’s driver Faruk Hossain, 30, from Tangail Sadar.
The auto-rickshaw fell between two trucks while it was attempting to overtake one, said OC Akhtaruzzaman.
The two injured were rushed to Tangail Medical College Hospital but are in critical condition. The bodies were kept at the TMC morgue.
