Deputy British High Commissioner calls on UGC chairman

20 March 2016, Nirapad News: Deputy British High Commissioner in Dhaka Mark Clayton today called on chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Prof. Abdul Mannan at the latter’s office.

Matt Pusey, Deputy Director, British Council, Bangladesh accompanied Mark Clayton, a release said.

Cross Border Higher Education (CBHE), teachers’ training, educational structure, communication skills in English, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and Visa issues came up in the discussion.

UGC members Prof Dr Mohammad Yousuf Ali Mollah, Prof Dr Dil Afroza Begum, Prof. Dr Md Akhtar Hossain, Prof. Dr M Shah Nowaz Ali and UGC Secretary Dr Md Khaled, among others, were present during the meeting.
