DGHS Director General Dr Abul Bashar Md Khurshid Alam has warned that action would be taken if anyone of the directorate are found involved in selling Covid-vaccine outside .
“This is a matter of legal procedure. Police are investigating against the accused, the DGHS is also separately probing the matter. Steps will be taken once the probe report is received,” he said while visiting the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital in the capital on Sunday.
Earlier, police arrested a clinic owner from city’s Dakhshinkhan area at night of August 18 for illegally giving Moderna’s Covid vaccine jabs.
Two vials of Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccine and few empty packets of the vaccine were also seized during the raid.
