The Public Administration Ministry has directed its offices and organisations to ensure health guidelines including wearing masks by its officials and employees.
The ministry issued the directives on Wednesday due to a recent rise in the number of coronavirus-infected patients.
On Wednesday, total coronavirus cases stood at 5,80,808 and death count at 8,763 in the country.
Bangladesh reported its first coronavirus case on March 8 last year and the first death on March 18 the same year.
