DSE, CSE see early hrs’ fall

8 October 2015, Nirapad News: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses — Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) – slipped in early hours of trading on Thursday.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, went down 21.83 points or 0.45 per cent to 4778.79 after the first one-hour of trade at 12:10pm.
Trade deals stood at 33083 with volume of transactions at Tk 1355.32 million.
Of the issues traded till then, 70 advanced, 171 declined and 47 remained unchanged.
LAFSURCEML was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 98.51 million changing hands till then followed by GP, BXPHARMA, FARCHEM, OLYMPIC and BRACBANK.
The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed downward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index losing 45.60 points to 8910.61, also at 12:07pm.
Of the issues traded till then, 38 gained, 101 declined and 29 remained unchanged.
