DSE, CSE up at opening

20 December 2015, Nirapad News: Share price indices at the country’s both bourses — Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) — gained in early hours of trading on Sunday.
DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, rose over 8.03 points or 0.17 per cent to 4528.91 after the first one-hour of trade at 11:23am.
Trade deals stood at 23911 with volume of transactions at Tk 807.43 million.
Of the issues traded till then, 142 advanced, 69 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
BXPHARMA was the most traded stocks with shares worth Tk 105.40 million changing hands till then followed by QSMDRYCELL, EMERALDOIL, AL-HAJTEX, LAFSURCEML and APEXFOODS.
The port city bourse – Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) – also witnessed upward trend in early hour with its Selective Category Index gaining 10.28 points to 8409.44, also at 11:18am.
Of the issues traded till then, 68 gained, 30 declined and 12 remained unchanged.
