East West varsity students block city road

13 Septembar 2015, Nirapad News: Students of East West University are demonstrating in front of their campus in city’s Badda area on Sunday, in protest against the imposition of VAT on the tuition fees in private universities.

They put barricade on road stretching to Rampura Bridge from Merul Badda starting from 10:15am.

The agitating students demanded withdrawal of Value Added Tax (VAT) on tuition fees.

The movement will continue till education system is not free from VAT, they added.
