07 March 2015, Nirapad News: Government has been successful to maintain the desired growth rate with the help of people although Khaleda Zia is trying to destroy the economy, said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday on the Parliament.

“She (Khaleda Zia ) is trying hard to destroy the country’s economy, but the law enforcement agencies are very much careful…people are very much cautious, the export growth of the country is on the right track,” she said.

The Prime Minister also said she has the conviction that the export of the country will not be hampered and Bangladesh will be able to reach its desired goal.

She said the destructive activities of the BNP-Jamaat alliance are just tainting the country’s image abroad. “We’ve brought everything under control very skillfully.”

The Leader of House mentioned that the BNP chief has also tried to destroy the RMG sector which earns the highest foreign exchange for the country.

“But, this sector has been able to achieve its export target,” she said.

Mentioning that the people of all parties are engaged in the RMG sector, Hasina told the House that if this sector suffered any setback then the people of all parties will be affected. “She (Khaleda) has now assumed a horrific image…she’s now least bothered who will be affected.”

Terming Khaleda Zia the leader of militants, the Prime Minister said she does not care about rules and constitution. “Now she (Khaleda) has one job… she’ll show her power of militancy and kill people…this is how she wants to hamper the country’s export.”

Sheikh Hasina said Khaleda Zia wants to resist the goods transportation to destroy the economy and put the people of the country into miserable condition.

“She (Khaleda) never feels good when the people of the country are in peace, she feels uncomfortable when people lead a comfortable life,” Hasina added.

The Prime Minister sought cooperation from people in maintaining the growth of the country.
