Expatriates stage demo at Kurmitola Hospital for Covid vaccine
Over 200 outbound migrant workers staged demonstration in front of Kurmitola Hospital in the capital on Thursday morning demanding corona vaccine.
Then, the authorities of the hospital assured them that the vaccine will be administered as per rules.
Cantonment Police Station OC Kazi Shahan Haque said, “Around 200-250 expatriates came to the hospital for receiving the vaccine. They started demonstration as the vaccines have been delayed. The authorities informed the police that the COVID vaccines will be administered as per the rules.”
The government from this morning started giving the second dose of coronavirus vaccine at 40 centres across the country Sinopharm and Pfizer vaccines.
