Farmer hurt in BSF firing along Panchagarh border

20 April 2016, Nirapad News: A farmer was shot and injured by the members of Indian Border Security Force along Moynaguri bordering area in Sadar upazila on Wednesday.

Commanding Officer of BGB-18, Lieutenant Colonel Al Hakim Naushat, said the BSF members from Brahmanbasti camp in India opened fire on Delwar Hossain, 32, son of Yusuf Ali of Khetipara village, while working at his paddy filed around 2:30 pm, leaving him injured.

Later, he was rushed to Panchagarh Modern Hospital.
