‘Foreigners murder mystery to be unveiled soon’
11 October 2015, Nirapad News: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan categorically said mystery of killings of two foreign nationals in the country will be revealed noon.
He said, “We are investigating into the matter (killings) giving it the highest importance. Intelligence, police and other security forces are trying their level best”.
The minister hoped that they will be able to unearth the mystery behind the killing very soon and identify the people involved in it.
He came up with the assertions while attending a concluding parade on the occasion of basic training and musters in human security (MHS) program of 33rd BCS (Ansar) officers of Ansar and village defense police (VDP) at Kaliakoir upazila in Gazipur district Sunday.
The home boss also said 114,700 foreign nationals live in Bangladesh. But figure of illegal immigrants in the country is not known, he added.
Ansar and VDP director general (DG) major general M Nazim Uddin, additional DG brigadier general Jasim Uddin, deputy director (DD admin) colonel Ashik Iqbal, DD (training) AKM Mizanur Rahman, DD (Ansar Academy) Dr Forkan Uddin Ahmed, DD (operation) Silip Kumar Biswas and Gazipur senior assistant police super Manwar Hossain, among others, were also present at the program.
