Four burnt as gas cylinder goes off in Madaripur
15 November 2015, Nirapad News: Four people received burn injuries as gas a cylinder used for inflating balloons blasted at Majidbari village in Kalkini upazila on Sunday morning.
The injured were identified as Siraj Sarker, 60, Sumon Sarder, 19, Humayun, 35, and Aslam, 25–all residents of the village.
Kripa Sindu Bala, officer-in-charge of Kalkini Police Station, said the explosion took place at the village around 8am, leaving four people, including Siraj critically, injured.
Siraj was rushed to Barisal Sher-e Bangla Medical College Hospital while others took treatment at a local hospital.
