Government to take action against TIB
10 November 2015, Nirapad News: Ruling Awami League lawmaker and also law and parliamentary affairs Jatiya Sangsad (JS) standing committee president Suranjit Sengupta warned that the government will take action against anti-graft organization Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB).
The government will take action against TIB if it does not beg pardon within three days, he added.

Standing committee members Shamsul Haque Tuku and Talukdar Mohammad Yunus were also present at the briefing.
Suranjit said that TIB should accept their misdeeds and beg pardon otherwise the committee has agreed to take action against the organization.
He further said that TIB has crossed their lines in making comments about the country’s socio-political and constitutional rights.
