Governments builds 48-km lake at Purbachal city: Eng Mosharraf
14 March 2016, Nirapad News: Housing and public Works Minister Engineer Mosharraf Hossain today said the government is building a 48-km lake at Purbachal city aimed at making the city as modern and international standard.
“The government has undertaken effective initiatives to make Purbachal city as a modern and international standard green city,” he said this while addressing the closing ceremony of a three-day “Innovation and Development Expo and Green Investment Summit-2016” at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) here.
The minister said the government has also undertaken initiative to make Uttara second phase residential project under RAJUK (Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha) as a green city.
He urged all entrepreneurs to establish their industries plan wise.
Among others, Engineer Kabir Ahmad, managing director of Expo Net Exhibition Private Limited Rashedul Haque and BGMEA vice president Nasir Ahmad spoke on the occasion.
A total of 220 stalls, 130 organisations from 13 countries displayed their electronics equipment and machineries including air conditioning system, environment friendly construction equipment, office interior, heat control devices and auto fire extinguishers, modern machineries and services.
