Health Minister Zahid Maleque has said the government is planning to administer COVID vaccine people over 18 age to bring the students under vaccination.
The Minister came up with the disclosure while visiting Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in the capital on Thursday.
He said, “The government is thinking to fix minimum age 18 for COVID-19 vaccine registration. Already the National Technical Advisory Committee (NTAC) on COVID-19 has advised the government over it. We will discuss the matter with The Prime Minister soon.”
Earlier, the government has refixed age 35 for the vaccine registration.
