Independent MP walks out from parliament for not arresting Khaleda Zia
22 January 2015, Nirapad News : Mujibur Rahman Nixon independent member of parliament (Faridpur-4) staged a walkout from parliament protesting what he said not arresting BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on charge of carrying violence and arson attacks in recent days on Thursday.
Nixon said they watched on TV channels that Khaleda ordered the blockade programme be continued. “Violence and bomb attacks are being carried out at her behest… I’m walking out to register my protest why Khaleda is not arrested.”
Responding to his question, Junior home minister Asaduzzaman said the questioner was right and the Prime Minister also talked about it. “We’re observing the situation. We’re proceeding as per law.”
